CAMPAIGN
Everybody is DIFFERENT, but we are all PEOPLE.
All of us want to be HAPPY , all of us live on the same
PLANET .
WHAT IS DISCRIMINATION?
It is any action or omission carried out by persons, groups or institutions,
in which different treatment is given to a person, group or institution in
terms different from that given to similar subjects, of which a prejudice or
negative consequence is followed For the recipient of that deal.

GENDER DISCRIMINATION
Gender discrimination results in unfair treatment of a person because of his / her
gender. This problem affects both men and women. It is evident in work situations
where there are preferential treatment according to the gender of the employees, or
some employee receives a lower wage or less work responsibilities due to gender bias
and unfair stereotypes
CONSEQUENCES
There are several effects and consequences of gender discrimination, especially in
employment. Gender discrimination in the workplace creates an increase in employee
turnover and creates a hostile work environment. Gender discrimination also
promotes harassment and possible violence in the workplace
SOLUTIONS
There are several state and federal laws that prohibit gender discrimination and
provide solutions for those behavior in the workplace, as well as in educational and
financial institutions. The Civil Rights Act prohibits discrimination based on gender. The
Equal Pay Act promotes equality between men and women who perform the same job
functions in the same labor field. Diversity and inclusion policies also serve to remedy
gender discrimination through the promotion of gender equality.
