Bison

Buffalo are a type of animal the Native Americans hunted for.  Lots of them died by the Native Americans and also the railroad.  The buffalo ruined the railroad tracks.  Native Americans depended on the buffalo to hunt and kill.  They ate the meat, used the fur to warm up, and bones to make all kinds of tools.

The steel plow was a tool used to break the hard packed down earth.  All the wood plows were breaking and it was so hard to break the earth.  Until John Deere invented the steel plow.  It was a fabulous invention.  Lots of were amazed where you could find such hard material.

Native Americans

Native Americans hunt Buffalos.  They lived in large open areas on the plains, so it wasn't hard to hunt for food.  After a while they were forced off the plains to a smaller land which was harder to hunt.

Mountains

Te mountains were very dangerous and hard to climb.  Lots of people how to travel there way through the mountains.  The mountains were a hugemongous.  When it snowed the snow was so cold.  

The windmill was invented by Daniel Holladay in 1854.  The windmill was a smart idea.  The windmill brought scarce water.

The gold rush was a event that tons of people went to.  Once the news was out about the it.  So many people went to the gold rush to get some gold.  People were so happy.  They got every single bit they could find.
