1 Nervous system and Circulatory system The nervous systems major parts include nerves and the Brain The major organ in the circulatory system is the heart The brain sends messages to the heart telling it to pump blood The heart pumps oxygen and nutrients throughout the body so that the cells can function 2 Circulatory and Respiratory The respiratory system brings oxygen into our body with the lungs The lungs hold the oxygen so the blood can absorb the oxygen Then the heart pumps the oxygenated blood throughout the body so the body can use it After the body uses the oxygen it turns into carbon dioxide which is brought back to the lungs which then exhales the carbon dioxide out of our body 3 Digestive and Circulatory The digestive system breaks down the food we eat and takes out needed nutrients These nutrients are put into the bloodstream then the heart pumps your blood around your body and the nutrients get put into cells of your body Then the cells are able to use the nutrients to make energy 4 Circulatory and excretory The circulatory has a major organ called the heart The heart pumps blood to the kidneys The kidneys are the blood filters of the body They Take out the nitrogenous waste out of the blood to keep your blood healthy Then your excretory system takes oxygen from the blood to use it as energy 5 Nervous and Skeletal The skeletal system is made up of bones bones provide calcium which helps the nervous systems function properly The vertebrae in our skeletal system protect the spinal cord The the sensory receptors in our joints from our nervous system help with telling us how our body is positioned 6 Nutrients Oxygen Energy CO2 Nitrogenous Waste I I I I Digestive Respiratory Respiratory Excretory Circulatory Moves all of this around
