My Web booklet Project :)

The organization I chose was the UNICEF. This organization is committed to doing all it can to achieve the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs); which is organizing principle for sustaining finite resources necessary to provide for the needs of future generations of life on the planet, in partnership with governments, civil society, business, academia and the United Nations family  and especially children and teens.

They also work to promote and improve the rights and lives of children in all situations all around the world.

There are many parts of this organization, but the part I chose was Child protection from violence, exploitation and abuse. there is alot of abuse and violence towards everyone. But it's mainly targeted at children. Many children of all ages are beaten and neglected, and most of us dont know why. But there are some people that know, and those bystanders are worse for not helping because those children need an advocate to speak on their behalf. Why do they need and advocate? They need one because they are either too scared to tell anyone or they do tell and no one listens.

So this organization helps those children have salvation from the abuse and have a voice that can speak for them when they are too afraid or can't.

In many cases, a child will be exposed to different types of violence, exploitation and abuse, each with their own characteristics. Changes in legislation, policies, services and social norms can improve the protection of children in multiple ways. UNICEF therefore works with partners on a number of issues by strengthening child protection systems and promoting positive social norms in all contexts - development and emergency - to prevent and respond to violence, exploitation and abuse directed at children.

Each boy and girl are treated different from each other. The boys get more privilages and rights then the girls. Boys get a higher secondary education as shown in the photo below in yellow. Ant the photo below counts for everyone. It doesn't technically mean it has to be an adult, it can be children too.

Thank You! :)
