Isadore "Frez" Freleng was born in Kansas City, Missouri. As a young boy, he wanted to do animatons, but had no formal training in drawing.That didn't mean that he coldn't do great things. He started, at age 17, at United Film Advancement. His first work, four years later, was with Disney, working on "Alice", but his accomplishment at UFA was "Bosko, the Talk-Ink Kid". With that show invented, he found work somewhere else, at Warner Brothers Animation. There, he made tons of exciting animations, such as Tweetie Pie, Speedy Gonzales, Birds Anonoymous, Knighty Knight Bugs, and The Pink Phink, all Oscar winners.In 1963, he made the Pink Panther, one of the mose memorable and amazing american icons of all time, in both, the animation and the real world.After 32 more years at the helm, he died because of heart aliment, but his memories will live on forever.

Frez was an important part of Warner Brothers Animation, helping them make award winners and global icons. Tweety was an example of such. With him at Warner Brothers, they won dozens of Academy awards.
