1p36 Deletion Syndrome affects up to 1 in 5000 births yet most people in our society and many physicians have either never heard of it or know little about it This summer 1p36 Deletion Support Awareness will be holding its 11th annual conference at the Lord Baltimore Hotel in downtown Baltimore August 3 5 2017 Having the chance to attend the conference can be life changing for families that feel lost and alone However those parents and caregivers that are raising a child or loved one with 1p36 Deletion Syndrome know all too well how difficult and demanding it can be For many families this is their annual vacation or family trip and it is their only chance to feel normal in a world that is not always accepting of special needs children We need your help to make this conference a success as we are a 100 volunteer organization We are designated tax exempt under section 501 c 3 of the Internal Revenue Code Contributions are tax deductible to the fullest extent of the law Won t you consider sponsoring part of this conference opportunity Families often feel isolated because they do not know anyone else with the illness An annual conference provides an opportunity for individuals and families to have contact with others who are in a similar situation Thank you in advance for helping support 1p36 DSA as we strive to make this year s conference the best ever H o 2017 SPONSORSHIP OPPORTUNITIES All donations over 100 will get mentioned in our slideshow and conference brochure 2000 Moms Dads Night Out Sponsor a child free evening out for stressed caregivers at a local restaurant Includes sponsorship signage 1500 1 Conference Gift Your company name on a cooling towel given to each family 1000 Conference Meal Sponsor a breakfast or lunch includes table signage in dining room 500 Child Care Room Your company logo displayed outside the rooms where children are cared for during the conference so parents can attend worry free 250 Snack Break Help families take a break from so much new information with a snack table including signage To donate please contact Jennifer Winiecki at 410 382 0544 or jewiniecki hotmail com
