Step by step guide on how to pitch the Crua Loj six person tent.

Crua Loj (TT6) - Pitching instructions The tent comes in 3 bags 1. The outer tent with carpet, footprint and stakes 2. The inner tent and poles 3. The outer tent poles. Remove the contents from the bags. Step 2: Tent pole construction   Connect tent poles, note to keep side poles and top poles separate to ease the process. (Fig. 2A) Insert poles through sleeves, both sides and top, and connect only after all have been inserted through the sleeves. Step 3:      Insert silver buckle (attached to the groundsheet) into the bottom of the side poles, ensuring to do one side entirely before moving to the other side (Fig. 3A) It’s important to pull the floor and flysheet into position before inserting second side of clips (Fig. 3B) Once all the poles are through and clipped, stack them on top of each other (Fig. 3C) Stand the tent up vertically and stake at least 2 of the rear guy-lines for greater support during this action. Step 4:      When the tent is spread evenly proceed to stake down the front and side guylines. Also stake the bottom of the poles once they are in place. Tighten the rear guy-lines as required (Fig. 4A) Realign the footprint until it exactly meets the front of the tent and placed consistently under the tent (Fig. 4B Use the black aluminium poles to extend the front awning as required. Note, when using the front awning utilise the guy-lines at the top of the awning and stake them out at an angle from the tent. Step 5: Inner Tent Construction Stage 1:      Open the contents of the inner tent bag and remove the insulated material and the inner poles. Lay out the inner tent inside the outer tent and clip into place using the buckles along the ground of the sleeping area (Fig. 5A) Open the front doors of the inner tent as it lays on the ground to allow access to stand during installation (Fig. 5B) Start to clip in inner tent in place but to no more than halfway up the walls (Fig. 5C) Insert poles into the 3 pins at the back of the inner tent, floor level. Step 6: Taking down the tent           Take the inner tent down first, starting from the top, proceeding to unclip from wall and poles Once unclipped, remove poles and fold them up Fold the inner tent as it was, first left, then right, and roll up tightly Use the straps provided to tighten this even further (Fig. 6A) When Inner Tent is down, remove stakes from side guy-lines and base of poles and take down front awning if it was being used Remove carpet and fold One person to each side and remove stakes from front guy-lines Walk the front of the tent backwards to the second last pole, and remove back guy lines and stakes and let the ten drop flat on the ground After the air escapes, disconnect silver pins from the bottom of the poles, one side and then the other Disconnect the poles and remove through sleeves, fold and put back into pole bag (Fig. 6B) Fig. 6A Fig. 6B 7
