Summary
This Redemptive Romantic Comedy or Remanedy as we like to call it showcases the life of Torrey Young and her quest for love. After dealing
with the crisis of a failed engagement months before her wedding, Torrey continues to faithfully work at the church she grew up in all while
losing faith in her career aspirations and in finding love. Her boisterous older more experienced cousin Nell comes to the rescue enrolling Torrey
into her “How to Catch a Man School” teaching Torrey about beauty secrets, men, and life in general. The two polar opposite women go on a
hilarious man hunt to find Torrey’s Boaz. Throughout the twists, turns, laughs, and tears of the search, Torrey finds something far more
valuable than she anticipated.

Purpose
Statistics show that 48% of African American Women have never been married. Many of these women are in church pews serving the Lord just
like Torrey. This story gives a voice to the “Torrey’s” in America and encourage these women and every other audience member to embrace
their purpose and value whether single or married. It will also provide a platform for leaders and believers a like to address issues such as
loneliness, depression, relationships, and etc. in an authentic way.
Willie Moore Jr. Part
Towards the end of the movie the main characters book on relationships is on a successful tour. The plot includes montages of her
on various radio and tv interviews. There is one important radio conversation that Torrey has which peaks a listener’s ear. Although
we could hire an actor to portray the radio host, we would much rather hire an actor who is an incredible radio host- Willie Moore
Jr. We ask that you would prayerfully consider participating in this project. It is a short scene, so we would fly you in to Richmond VA
airport shoot the scene for no longer than 2 hours and fly you back out. If you and your team would rather line a speaking
opportunity up with a church near the area after our shoot and we fly you out the next day, that is fine as well.
