CMDA Membership Benefits at a Glance
A. Dealer Support
$10,000 For Approved Training & Consultants Reimbursement - CMDA members receive up to
$15,000 annually in training and consulting services in which one-third is paid by the CMDA member,
one-third up to $5000 is paid by CMDA and one-third up to $5000 is paid by our sponsors or Chrysler
Group LLC. A full list of our Approved Training Consultants can be found at
$5,000 For local Nonprofit and Community Support Reimbursement - As an alternative to the
Training and Consultant reimbursement, members can receive $5000 annually to sponsor local
nonprofit community organizations . Please see the Local Support Reimbursement
guidelines for mandatory requirements.
$2,000 Partners Program Advertisement, Web Coupon and Marketing Reimbursement - The
CMDA Partners Program is a unique partnership that offers members up to $2000 in reimbursement
$500 CMDA web coupon redemption or
television, print, radio and other advertising and marketing expenses.
Dealers may post the CMDA $500 Web Coupon on their websites or direct customers to use the
coupon posted on the CMDA website. To obtain reimbursement, Dealers should submit proof of
vehicle purchase, signed coupon by the dealer and show $500 sales price reduction to CMDA
To obtain reimbursement of advertising and marketing expenses, dealers must submit
proof of payment of advertising invoices and proof that advertisement promoted Chrysler and FIAT
Annual and Summer CMDA Meeting Attendance Reimbursement - CMDA members receive a
portion of their expenses related to attending the Annual Business Meeting/NADA and Summer
Business Meetings. The amount of the reimbursement is determined by the Board of Directors.
B. One Voice
CMDA dealers are some of the most successful dealerships in the country who network amongst each
other and share best practices. The Association is self funded and also utilizes outside sponsorship. It is
one of the strongest minority associations of its kind. Its founders recognized the value and importance
of unified effort, self reliance, common interests and advocacy. As a group, CMDA also has direct
access to decision makers and Chrysler Group LLC and FIAT SpA. We foster relationships that support a
climate of collaboration and efficient responses to dealer issues and concerns. Members have the
opportunity to meet and discuss business issues with senior Chrysler/FIAT management at least twice a
C. National Collaborations
CMDA dues include membership in the National Association of Minority Automotive Dealers (NAMAD)
and the National Automotive Dealers Association (NADA). CMDA has also applied for U.S. Chamber of
Future Dealers AllianceThe Alliance is a participation category for ethnic minorities who are currently
employed as senior sales managers or general managers in Chrysler and Fiat dealerships owned by CMDA
Members. Alliance participants pay a $500 annual participation fee. Alliance participants may attend open
portions of CMDA Annual/NADA and Summer Meetings and select networking and training events. Alliance
participants are not members of CMDA, do not have voting status and may not serve on the CMDA Board of
Directors or receive any membership reimbursement benefits.
