Safety Precautions
You must read operation manual and install, operate and
maintain with the requirement to avoid facility and personal accident
◆when moving machine tool, eyebolt and other safety equipment must be
used.
◆the machine tool must be steady when placing machine tool.
◆prior to use, it is must to verify reliability of every part of machine tool
and power ground, and check whether the machine tool oil is injected .
◆clamping of workpiece and cutter must be reliable, it is forbidden to cut
too much to avoid human casualty accident.
◆it is forbidden to open safety door and touch workpiece when cutting
workpiece to avoid industrial accident.
◆push jerk button when machine tool is in emergency, then turn off
power, power is not on before the accident is cleared.
◆the operator must receive skill training of operation with qualification
of operating machine tool; the maintenance staff must have the
professional maintainability.
◆the power switch must be turned off before maintaining, during
operating, specially-assigned person must take care machine tool and tag
of warn must be hung.

1 Main application
This two coordinates machine tool is controlled by digital
controlled system which is suitable to shaft typed and shell type
parts and can cut all kinds of geometry surface of inside and
outside cylindrical surface, end face, any conical surface and arc

surface, and it can be equipped with encoder to cut thread
according to user needs with operation of grooving, drill,
chambering, reaming and boring a hole. It can complete
automatically continuous process of excircle, end face, chamfer
and grooving of parts, especially having excellent advantage when
processing parts with step, taper, arc and other complex surface.
The main movement includes infinitely variable speeds of
transducer main motor, feed movement includes AC servo motor
control, row of knives are standard configuration.
The utility model has the advantages of reasonable design,
excellent performance, high processing efficiency, good stability,
convenient operation and safe use. It is ideal processing unit for
modern industry.

3 drive system
1) Main movement
Motor drives main shaft directly by triangle belt. Main motor
enable main shaft with infinitely variable speeds by controlling
frequency variation of frequency converter. A pair of grouping
angular contract ball bearing is used before and after main shaft
with good rotating performance and high accuracy, enabling main
shaft moving at high speed.
2) Feed movement
Z and X direction feed movements of this machine tool are

results that servo motor is connected directly to drive ball screw.
Its speed range and set of rapid traverse are detailed in operation
manual and programming manual.

Machine tool must be mounted correctly, if not, accuracy and
service life are affected.
Machine tool can be mounted on solid base by foot-screw,
which base is detailed in figure, and depth of base depends on
soil property, general 400mm. Solidify it with concrete after
adjusting level, put straight of base surface.
It is supported by random 4 sets of shim plate. Adjusting shim
plate keeps gradienter readings not more than 0.06/1000mm
in vertical and horizontal direction.
6 commissioning and adjustment
1) Commissioning
Machine tool must complete commission with qualified
check prior to leaving factory.
Before commissioning, add oil for every oil pool and

lubricating point by lubricating system.
Read digital controlled system operation manual and programming
manual in the section about machine tool operation prior to work. Be
familiar with diagram and operation of every button, switch and
handle of machine tool. Check the connection between digital
control box and machine tool, start machine only after confirming no
mistakes.
After starting, check working condition of machine tool parts, then
conduct idle running. main shaft idle running is from low speed
to high speed.
2) Machine tool adjustment
Adjust tightness degree of main drive triangular belt, loosen nut on
motor baseboard when adjusting, adjusting up and down location of
baseboard, freeze nut after moderately loosening triangular belt.
7 maintenance
Maintenance for machine tool is very important apart
from normal use, please put attention to the following:
1) be careful with the height of oil surface in oil leveler,
normally not less than center of leveler, to avoid damage to
machine parts due to poor lubrication.
2) the clean lubricating oil must be injected into all
lubricating position, especially keep good lubrication

between slideway and ball screw.

8.2 check before power on
Every part of electrical part must be checked carefully before
power on for safety of persons and equipment.
8.2.1 Check whether connection of all electrical part is right;
8.2.2 Check whether every fastener is loosened;
8.2.3 Check whether every insulator is available, whether there is
damage in cable and wire.
8.2.4 Check whether every electrical component has damage.
