Thais Harris began her training at the Dance Academy of Boca Raton with
D’Avray and Anne Polajenko. She went on to study with Ruth Petrinovic at Ballet Florida
and has performed in numerous ballets such as Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, The Tempest,
and The Nutcracker. Thais had the opportunity to live overseas in Madrid, Spain where she
worked with the Ballet Comunidad de Madrid. She has been teaching ballet for 15 years
and hopes to enrich her students with her knowledge and love for ballet. Thais also holds
a Bachelors Degree in Psychology and is currently working towards her Masters Degree at Florida Atlantic
Barbara Leneski is a Boston native, who began dancing at age 3.Her studies include
tap, jazz, ballet, pointe, lyrical,acrobatics, baton and ballroom. In 1989, she graduated
from the Dance Teacher’s Club of Boston, and became an active memeber for many years.
Barbara is a former chairperson for the Suffolk County Junior Miss Program. She has
completed, with high honors, many levels of the National Medal Testing Program in tap,
jazz and ballet. Barbara is a former national and regional champion, competing both as a
soloist and a company member. In 1997, she joined the staff at Dance Unlimited and has loved every minute
of it. She is also a choreographer and teacher for the award winning CenterStage Dance Company since 2008.
Jessica Lomauro began dancing at the age of 3 in New Jersey.
She began her
pre-professional training at the Academy of Dance Arts in Red Bank, New Jersey under
the instruction of Jennifer James Church, Sori Gottdenker, Victoria Hall, Charles
Nicholl, and Daniel Catanach. Jessica’s training was primarily focused around ballet.
She performed lead roles in many performances including Clara, Mouse Doll, Lead
Marzipan and Snow Queen in The Nutcracker. At the ages of 12-16, Jessica went to
the School of American Ballet for their summer programs. She also attended summer
programs at San Francisco Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, and Miami City ballet.
Brooke Moody is a graduate of the University of South Florida where she earned
a Bachelor of Arts in Dance Education. Following graduation, she performed with
two modern dance companies and became Dance Director of Progress Village Middle
Magnet School of the Arts. As a choreographer, teacher, performer and stage manager,
her career spans more than 20 years. She is also an active member of Florida Dance
Masters and Dance Educators of America. Currently, she has been teaching at Dance
Unlimited for the past 6 years and is the After School Dance Director at Pine Crest
School in Boca Raton. Aside from her accomplishments in dance, she is also very proud
to me a mother to Natalia & Landon.
Shawna Robinson has a BBA in Finance and a BA in Dance from the University
of Massachusetts, Amherst. She has been educating students for over 12 years in
Massachusetts, Virginia and now Florida. Currently, she teaches Jazz, Modern, Tap and
Ballet but enjoys all styles of dance. Shawna danced with the Samantics dance company
in college and studied under noted choreographers Fritha Pengelly, Kenneth Lipitz, and
BillBob Brown. She relocated to Florida with her husband in 2011.
Kelly Stashko has 30 years teaching experience. Trained in acro, ballet, hip hop,
jazz, lyrical, tap, theatrical dance from some of the top teacher/choreographers such
as Gus Giordano, Frank Hachett, and many others. Kelly owned, directed, taught,
choreographed, and designed costumes for her own dance studio for 25yrs. Other
accomplishments include choreographer for body builders, male dancers, country music
video for Mad Max Allen, Piper High School show choir, Broward Center for Performing
Arts-Performance Project Summer Camp 2011-14.
