Biography
Born Nov. 14,1840 in Paris France. His style of painting was "Impressionism". Throughout his life he struggled with poverty, sickness, and depression. He died in 1926.

Reasons for choosing those paintings
I chose those two paintings because it just looks so peaceful and the water in both the paintings just catches my eye. It looks like its moving and that really cool to me and that takes a lot of skill to do that and make it look right. It also takes a lot of time and effort as well. He is a unique painter that is why i chose him because he doesn't follow in the same footsteps as other painters, he went his own path with impressionism which i like.
