Lost and Found

Yesterday

Sacred, shining summer

so long ago it was,

careless birds miles high,

now gone into the night.

You admired the sweet rain

Now sunny days feel a waste

We smiled forever before today

Millenials

The Sellouts

Any person
Believes they
Can accomplish or
Do anything when
Endorsed with proper
Funds

The Birds

Birds

Tiny, Happy

Flying, Hopping, Singing

Playful little Puffballs

Chikadee

The Koi Pond

Brightly colored koi

Glimmer in the shaded pond

Black and orange and white

The Death of Reason

Piggy

Smart, responsible, weak, impaired

Enemy of Jack

Who loved order and fair rules

Who felt friendship through Ralph and usefulness through his glasses

Who feared harm from Jack and isolation from others

Gained Ralph’s respect, and kept him from following Jack

Who wanted to lead the boys and leave the island

Lived in Britain and died on the island

Unknown

What’s that!

Way up in the night sky

With a ring of yellow lights

All around the rim, turning the night to day

Causing fright among every living soul, young and old, here to see it

And blotting out the stars

The Invasion

The Foxes

Tell a tale of

A time when the

Field was filled with

Foxes and

Yellow flowers

The Newt of Devil's Den

I knew you so little

And you were gone so fast

Before I even knew you

You were dead in my arms

Your life must have been hard

And yet it was simple

A reminder to all

To live life to your purpose

I am sad to say goodbye

For it is our fault you’re gone

I must leave you behind now

And follow the trail of life

The Garden Snake

Movements in the grass

Tiny scales move left to right

A tiny kite head

A body shaped like an S

And a little fork shaped tongue

The Best Pet

If I were to get a pet,

It would be hard to choose the best;

There are ferrets, mice, and cats,

And squirrels, starfish, and bats,

I could get a small dog,

Or even a hog,

A milk snake, a mollie,

A cheetah that's spotty,

Or bird colored of holly,

Would that not be jolly

A little hermit crab,

So many shells to have,

Or a turtle named Trevor,

Who keeps one shell forever.

But, if I had to choose one

And from there be done

This is a true fact

I’d choose a fancy rat

I had a guppy named Dot

Because of his belly spot

Sometimes it was black

And that is a fact

Other times it was but naught

Dot the Guppy

Summary of Myself

When reading old books

Phones distract you from the task

So put them away

Loving Others

Whether in life or death,

Love others and yourself

 Blue

Calm, Mysterious

Resting, Studying, Waiting

Color of Noon, Color of Evening
