From the Director Welcome to Center Stage Jackson s production of the Agatha Christie classic And Then There Were None Based on her 1939 mystery novel initially released with a truly offensive title Despite the controversy this work is considered by many to be Christie s masterpiece In 1943 the ending was thought to be too dark for the times so Christie re wrote a happy version for the stage In the 1970s much to my delight they re released the original ending This is my CSJ directorial debut and their staff has been very helpful The Sandhill Crane Vineyards personnel and all of our production staff cast and crew have been indispensable in bringing this challenging stage play to life and I thank them all Each of our actors has volunteered their talents to bring you this classic tale of murder and deceit and I m confident you won t be disappointed If you happen to know our tale please keep the plot twists under wraps so as not to spoil it for those that don t although pay attention we may have a few surprises for you as well If you enjoy our production be sure to ask about becoming a CSJ member For the next couple of hours forget all you know about modern forensics and detective work and travel with us to a simpler time Join our unique cast of characters on their adventure to a secluded lodge perched high on the cliffs of the remote Soldier Island for a most unfortunate weekend getaway Enjoy Deon Ojan Artistic Director Place The living room of a house on Soldier Island off the coast of Devon England Time Act I A summer evening in August Act II Scene I The following morning Act II Scene II The same day afternoon Act III Scene I The same day evening Act III Scene II The following afternoon

Meet the Cast Meet the Production Staff Crew Daniel Dye Sir Lawrence Wargrave is thankful to be part of this production in a role that he considers to be the most difficult role he has had to perform Before this Daniel has only taken part in Center Stage Jackson s musicals Monty Python s SPAMALOT 1776 and Fiddler On the Roof When he isn t doing his stay at home daddy gig with his inarguable un debatable and totally non biased most adorable daughter Daniel volunteers his time to The Collector s Zone and has recently found a new hobby in writing political satire This production has taught him about broadening his character choices and learning how to be on stage without having to sing every ten minutes He is very thankful to the Director and his crew for allowing him to be part of this vision Daniel dedicates his performance to his inarguable un debatable and totally non biased wonderful wife Amber Her level of patience in having to tolerate an actor husband is unequaled Deon Ojan Artistic Director is making his Center Stage Jackson directorial debut after his appearance in Arsenic and Old Lace last year Pharaoh in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat Nathan Detroit in Guys and Dolls and Jud Fry in Oklahoma are just a few of his past roles Each December Deon appears as Santa Claus and is the co director in the Michigan Theatre s annual production of The All A Merry Can Christmas Show a charity variety show that provides food to local pantries to help feed needy families during the holidays In his free time he relaxes by saving the world in video games like Fallout 4 Elder Scrolls Tomb Raider Brian Ketner Rogers is playing the role of the butler He is in fact the best butler Well he s not technically a butler but a manservant which is basically the same as a butler Brian has been involved in a number of shows with Center Stage Jackson including 1776 and Fiddler on the Roof You know a manservant actually does more than an ordinary butler He also acts as a valet footman attendant and many other roles in addition to a mere butler But for simplicity s sake let s just use the term butler Though the script does say manservant Anyway Brian also teaches piano with the Jackson Symphony Orchestra and is a music professor at Jackson College But he s not really a butler That s just his character Veronica Long Vera Claythorne is elated to be performing the role of Vera Claythorne in her fourth Center Stage Jackson show and is excited to return to the Sandhill Crane Vineyards after playing Elaine Harper last year in Arsenic and Old Lace Veronica has also appeared in CSJ s Fiddler on the Roof as Fruma Sarah and Gypsy as Mazeppa While not on stage Veronica likes to travel play trivia and work as a realtor for Keller Williams Veronica would like to thank the cast and crew for their hard work on this lovely show as well as everyone who came to see it Ellen Yoakam Costumes has been costuming shows in the Jackson area for twenty years working with several high schools Jackson College Spring Arbor University and Center Stage Jackson Clark Lake Players and Jackson Civic Theater before that She couldn t do it without her wonderful crew Ellen is honored to have worked with so many wonderful people Special thanks to my husband

From the Director Welcome to Center Stage Jackson s production of the Agatha Christie classic And Then There Were None Based on her 1939 mystery novel initially released with a truly offensive title Despite the controversy this work is considered by many to be Christie s masterpiece In 1943 the ending was thought to be too dark for the times so Christie re wrote a happy version for the stage In the 1970s much to my delight they re released the original ending This is my CSJ directorial debut and their staff has been very helpful The Sandhill Crane Vineyards personnel and all of our production staff cast and crew have been indispensable in bringing this challenging stage play to life and I thank them all Each of our actors has volunteered their talents to bring you this classic tale of murder and deceit and I m confident you won t be disappointed If you happen to know our tale please keep the plot twists under wraps so as not to spoil it for those that don t although pay attention we may have a few surprises for you as well If you enjoy our production be sure to ask about becoming a CSJ member For the next couple of hours forget all you know about modern forensics and detective work and travel with us to a simpler time Join our unique cast of characters on their adventure to a secluded lodge perched high on the cliffs of the remote Soldier Island for a most unfortunate weekend getaway Enjoy Deon Ojan Artistic Director Place The living room of a house on Soldier Island off the coast of Devon England Time Act I A summer evening in August Act II Scene I The following morning Act II Scene II The same day afternoon Act III Scene I The same day evening Act III Scene II The following afternoon
