A Few More Answers
What meals are included?
Breakfast is usually not included but many hotels in the USA include
breakfast in the overnight rate. All other meals are at your expense.
Do you provide any support?"
Hertz will provide support if you have a breakdown your road book
includes a list of emergency contact numbers
.
What is the daily routine?"
You can leave the overnight accommodation at your leisure. You
have the opportunity to visit the country’s most spectacular locations
and attractions from the ocean to the alps and you will drive through
some of the most amazing country you will see anywhere. For the
shoppers there are ample opportunities to secure a bargain or
acquire that special something that you just can’t live without.
Can I go by myself or is it only for couples?"
Yes, although you may incur some cost penalties if travelling alone as
the packages are based on twin share.
What is the dress code?"
Daywear is as informal as you wish and “smart casual” is sufficient for
evening wear. On a few occasions you may choose to be more a
little formal but attire should be stylish comfortable. Temperatures are
often cool in the morning and evening, and warm during the day, so
layering is recommended.
What types of cars are on the tour?"
The tour prices are based on a “Compact” class car but upgrades are
readily available. For example the cost to upgrade to a “Full Size” for
a 10 day tour can be as low as $100.
We can offer you a wide choice of vehicles and depending upon your
budget you can choose between a wide range of convertibles and
coupes from European to American Muscle cars.
How far will we drive in a day?"
This varies from day to day and most days will not exceed 3 to 4
hours maximum. In some cases this will mean covering a
substantial distance on freeways and motorways and on others quite
a short distance. There are many days on each tour where there is
little if no distance to cover and many itineraries have multiple day
stops as possible rather than be moving every day.
How do I book?
Firstly check with us by email or phone to ensure that there are
places still available. Once you have decided to join us, complete the
booking form on line from the “Book” tab and either email it to us or
send by post with your deposit. Once your booking has been

the website and in a Tour brochure. However, we reserve the right to change or
vary a Tour, including Tour Prices, due to circumstances beyond our control,
including, but not limited to, terrorism, natural disasters, political instability, adverse
currency fluctuations, or other external events. In the event that a change has
occurred after you have submitted a Booking Form, we will advise you of any such
change before accepting your booking. If we have accepted your booking and
provided you with a Confirmation Invoice, we will make every effort to operate a
Tour as advertised. Should a change in the Tour Price involve an increase in
excess of 10% of the Tour Price as indicated on your Confirmation Invoice, you
may cancel your booking within 14 days of the date of issue of the revised invoice
and obtain a full refund of all payments made to us. If the modification is
significant, such as a change of destination or a change to a lower standard of
accommodation, we will notify you as soon as reasonably practical and offer you
two choices. You may accept the modification, or you may cancel and receive a full
and prompt refund. If the modification is not significant, we will attempt to notify
you as soon as possible. If, for any reason outside our control, we are unable to
provide a significant proportion of your Tour after it has commenced, suitable
alternative arrangements will be made for you at no extra charge to you or,
alternatively, you will be returned to your point of departure and given a pro-rata
refund for ground arrangements not received. You will not be entitled to claim any
additional amounts or seek compensation for any loss, expense or damage (either
direct or consequential) or for any loss of time or inconvenience, which may result
from such amendment or change.
CHANGES BY SUPPLIERS
In the event that a Supplier makes a change or cancels service arrangements as
part of a Tour, we shall notify you as soon as possible.
