If You Give a Student an Assignment...

By Danielle DelRosso

I

If you give a student an assignment, then they will complain about it.

If a student complains about an assignment, then they will annoy their friends.

If a student annoys her friends, then they will not want to hang out with her.

If a student's friends do not want to hang out with her, then she will be lonely.

If a student is lonely, then they will watch Netflix.

If a student watches Netflix, then they will want to watch an entire t.v. series.

If a student wants to watch an entire t.v. series, then they will need snacks.

If a student wants snacks, then she will need money.

If a student needs money, then she will get a job.

If a student gets a job, then she will make money.

If a student makes money, then she will buy snacks.

If a student buys snacks, then she will watch Netflix.

If a student watches Netflix, then she will not do her assignment.

If a student does not do her assignment, then she will get a bad grade.

If a student is distracted by Netflix, does not complete her assignment and gets a bad grade, then she will complain.
