Moms Against Drunk Driving
Booklet by Thomas Michel
What is MADD?
Madd stands for Mothers Against Drunk Driving. Madd started when one mom decided at a kitchen table in 1980 that things needed to change in America. In 1980 more people died on roadways than war due to drunk drivers. Today, thanks to a mom in 1980, fatalities have been cut in half. With the help of thousands of supporters, Madd is still set on reaching zero drunk driving fatalities.
~Madd had helped save 330,000 lives from 1980 to 2015.
~By 2015 Madd had helped pass ignition interlock laws in 25 states.
~Madd helped drop the drunk driving death rate per year by 55% from 1980 to 2013.
You can create an online tribute honoring your lost love one. You can always join our MADD walk to spread awareness about drunk driving. Do not be scared to contact you representative on matters that mean most to you. Your support it what keeps us going so don't forget to donate to MADD.
