Booklet on the MADD Agency.

Every two minutes, a person is injured in a drunk driving crash.

The MADD agency was started/ founded on May 3, 1980. The laws they had were ¨all-offender ignition interlock laws in 25 states, the most recent state being is Texas.¨ Their mission was to help victims of crimes and their families too. There were people dying because of  drunk driving and 55% of the deaths has dropped since of MADDś founding in 1980. The have saved around 330,000 and counting more. They started integrating the word survivor in their vocabulary.

About one in seven teens binge drinks, yet only 1 in 100 parents believe his or her teen binge drinks.

MADD provides free supportive services to the victims and survivors of drunk and drugged driving, as well as underage drinking.

In 2015, 10,265 people died in drunk driving crashes – one every 51 minutes – and 290,000 were injured in drunk driving crashes.

What MADD basically means is mothers against drunk driving like the picture you saw on the last page. Also this picture shows peole having signs saying end drunk driving.  They are also showing pictures of victims of drunk driving.
