LitWorld

We believe in strengthening

kids and communities

through the power of stories,

and are fighting illiteracy in children.

Our founder, Pam Allyn, created LitWorld with some friends after traveling to Kenya and witnessing the needs of the children there. They wanted to learn to read, to write, to share their stories with the world; she wanted to provide them with that opportunity.

         - 25 countries

         - 5 continents

- Story21: Focuses on incorporating more technology into the communities

- HerStory: Feminist-focused campaign for women's education

How We Help:

Every little bit counts, and your money will go to children in need.

More than even that, though, it will go to the future. It's almost time for the next generation to inherit the planet--your money will be helping that generation get the education and materials they need to make the best decisions.

Donate now to protect the future.
