Connecng Yomim Tovim
What a great start of the year it has been. Thank you to all the sta for seng the stage for a year of
growth and achievement. Thank you to the Rabbeim and Moros for preparing the children in such a
short me for the Yomim Tovim. Rosh Hashanah, Yom Kippur, and Succos are connected to each other
and set the stage for all of us to prosper and grow throughout the year.

י‘‘עשת ירשת ד‘‘ח
תוכוס ברע
makes a shidduch between our ףוג and המשנ.
During the year, the ףוג mistreats and sullies
the המשנ by doing various תוריבע.
Come לולא, the שבר‘‘ע comes to visit, and the ףוג
puts on a wonderful display, culminang with םוי
רופיכ where we wear white, we fast, and appear
almost like םיכאלמ. Seeing this, the ע״שבר looks at
the success of His shidduch. But, thundered the
Maggid, in these last few moments of הליענ, as
the ע״שבר prepares to leave, the המשנ begins to
cry out. Its a façade, a charade! The ףוג is not
what its appearing to be, but in fact mistreats
me.With that, the Maggid exhorted his mispal-
lelim to make the most of these moments.
When repeang this Mashal, Rav Efraim
Wachsman shlita added the following:
Seeing his daughter so distraught, the king
oered the following proposion. It seems to
me,he said, that so long as I am present, the
prince behaves appropriately. I will therefore
build a small house nearby, and move in, so the
prince will keep up his behavior. So too, ex-
plained Rav Wachsman, following רופיכ םוי ,
the ע״שבר has us build the הכוס, where we can
connue to be in his presence.
May we all be הכוז to a בוט רמג, a לעטיווק טוג and a
חמשו רשכ גח !
Rabbi Shmuel Ochs, Menahel
Right before the beginning הליענ תליפת the
Dubno Maggid ascended the המיב to inspire
his הליהק during these awesome moments.
As was his wont, he opened with a Mashal:
A king had a beauful daughter of marriagea-
ble age. He searched far and wide for an eligi-
ble ןתח for her, nally choosing a prince from
a far-away kingdom. The marriage took place
with pomp and ceremony, aer which the
princess travelled back with the prince to his
kingdom. Unfortunately, once the new couple
arrived in their new home, the prince began
to mistreat his new wife.
Aer some me, the king missed his daugh-
ter, and sent a leer to his son-in-law inform-
ing him he would be arriving to visit. The king
arrived, and observed with pleasure, as his
son-in-law, cognizant of his father-in-laws
watchful eye, treated the princess wonderful-
ly. The visit passed all too quickly, and the last
day of the kings stay approached.
As the king was preparing to leave, there was
a knock on the door. It was his daughter,
weeping profusely. Its a façade, a charade!
she sobbed. The prince is not what he ap-
pears to be! He doesnt treat me properly,
and I am in fact miserable!
Similarly, explained the Maggid, the ע״שבר
The boys and girls separately had the זתוכ to hear from the Bostoner Rebbe shlita before Yom Kippur. His mely
message of using your me wisely and understanding that your Rebbeim and Moros are transming the הרוסמ was
very well taken by the students.
There will be a special learning contest and a דסח contest over the Succos vacaon for boys and girls sponsored by
Rabbi and Mrs. Klerman
The students worked very hard on their Succos projects. We hope you enjoy them.
