Driving Under The Influence

Drunk Driving

What happens when you drink under influence?

Generally the most tolerable amount of alcohol any one person can intake is 2 pints of normal strength lager or 2 small glasses of wine. But, it is also worth knowing that a person's gender, weight, metabolism and what they have eaten that day, all play a factor in how the alcohol can affect them. Even if you have had a bit of sleep and waited until the next morning to drive after a night out, this doesn't mean that you are safe to do so. Would you take such a big risk and go drive after having a drink? Just imagine you might take someones life or even you own or go jail.Let that sink in.... Just remember tipsy is still drunk. Don't ever take that big risk.

How to prevent driving under the influence

  1. Choose a non-drinking designated driver if you’re consuming alcohol.
  2. Ask for a ride.
  3. Protect others by taking their keys if they attempt to drive after consuming alcohol. They may be mad at you, but the alternative is much worse.
