By: Caleb Christmas

Laws About Cell Phone Use While Driving

As of now, not all of the states have ban all cell phone uses for all drivers.  However, some states have ban certain aspects of the cell phone uses while driving.  Thirty Eight states ban teen drivers to use cell phones while driving.  Forty seven states have ban text messaging for all drivers.  In addition, fourteen states prohibit all drivers from using cell phones while driving.

Their Main Goals?

AT&T's main goals are to reduce to high occurring number of car crashes by texting while driving and to promote that texting and driving is as important as drinking while driving.  In fact, studies have shown that texting while driving is either the same or worse than drinking while driving when your attention is on your phone.
