OUR PRIORITIES
This weeks השרפ introduces us to טול, the nephew of וניבא םהרבא. טול left ןרח and
This was an act of great שפנ תריסמ on his part.
wasnt well-known, and at that point, stood for an ideal that the entire world opposed. Yet despite
this, טול abandoned all that was familiar to wander with םהרבא to an unknown location.

motives. ךוניח often requires that we make
different decisions that will impact our
childrens future. We must ask ourselves: Are
we allowing שוכר to interfere with our
childrens true needs? Are we being motivated
to respond in a certain way because of wealth,
prestige or any other non-altruistic motive: or
are we truly being ךנחמ our children for their
own benefit?
Chinuch is our top priority. To fortify
ourselves, we are hosting a Shabbos Chinuch
next week end. We, together with all the תודסומ
in Boston, are waiting with great anticipation
for the visit of

the New England Regional Torah Umesorah
Shabbos Chinuch. We invite you to participate
in all the related community events. There will

Thank you to all the
generous sponsors who are helping defray the
cost of the תבש. Anyone interested in becoming
a sponsor please email me at

However, later in the השרפ we find
that םהרבא and טול part ways. A squabble
between טול and םהרבאs shepherds leads to
this separation, and טול moves to the
opposite extreme, leaving םהרבא and
relocating to םודס. What triggered this
metamorphosis?
Rav Shwab ל״צז points out a קויד in the
psukim. The first time the הרות
references טול at the beginning of the השרפ,
Further on in
the השרפ, the phraseology changes: תא וחקיו״
Unlike the
first קוספ, the word ושכר, wealth, is
between טולs name and the description that
he is םהרבאs nephew.
This, explains Rav Shwab, prompted טולs
downward spiral. In an obfuscation of
priorities, he allowed ושכר, his wealth, to
take precedence over being the nephew
of וניבא םהרבא. This led to his downfall.
When dealing with the ךוניח of our children,
we must constantly evaluate our
This years ארקמ םינש program has now begun. The boys who completed it for Parsha Noach are listed inside.
The Williston building cleanliness program is now in full swing. Since the beginning of school the year, 3B have been cleaning and arranging the

Thank you to our "on call" lice checkers Mrs Beverly Kaplinsky and Mrs Mireille Miara, who helped us check the entire school this week on such
short notice. Thank you to Adina Forman RN for consulting and advising the families with lice on useful strategies and techniques.
Thank you to the parent that so responsibly called to inform the school of a case of lice so we could ensure that lice didn't spread any further
throughout the school- we are very grateful! And of course, thank you to Mrs. Cheryl Feuerstein for making all the arrangements.
