Visualisation

Character:

Winn Dixie

When Opal first met Winn Dixie, she described him as "big" and "ugly". Opal said he was large but skinny, with bald patches all over himself. It was Winn Dixie's smile that made Opal want to keep him. She said, "It's hard not to immediately fall in love with a dog who has a good sense of humor" (p. 12).

In your STEM/ART book, draw a picture of what you think Winn Dixie looked like when Opal first saw him in the supermarket.

Your drawing must fill 1 page, and be coloured in. When your picture is finished, write words that describe Winn Dixie around the outside of your drawing
